So after a horrible night of almost no sleeping due to a very whiny and crying Fernanda we got up at around 7:30 and got ourselves ready to for our move later in the afternoon. Alejandra and Amaya Fernanda played together some in the morning and at one point Fernanda decided that my mom was a pretty cool abuelita so she headed downstairs with her and a couple of hours later she was asleep in her arms. This gave Mark, Alejandra, and I a couple of hours together so we headed out to pick up lunch for our crew. We ad the best Colombian tamales, bread, and hot chocolate it was delicious!
We started our move at around 2:30 we were quite a sight! We had to lug our luggage and groceries a couple of blocks to our new place. It took about 4 trips back and forth but we are so grateful we moved. This new place is so much roomier! The girls have space to play in the living room and we also have a den and an office. The girls had fun playing with the ball this afternoon/evening and we heard a lot of laughs from both of them. After a busy day it was nice to hear laughter in our house again!
We put Fernanda in her own room tonight to see if it will help with her waking up in the middle of the night and wanting to be picked up. She went to bed after a couple of minutes of crying and so far she is sound asleep. Last night she fell asleep but woke up as soon as Mark and I went into the bedroom. We are hoping for a restful night because tomorrow we are heading out to Jaime Duque for the day.
Until tomorrow!
