Day 15: XOXO for Daddy!

Amaya Fernanda had a great night last night!  She slept the whole night through thankfully!  We all got up and dressed and after breakfast we decided that it would be best if we moved apartments.  We contacted the owner and he located another apartment for us a couple of blocks away.  Mark and I went and toured the place to make sure it would work out for us.  It is a beautiful apartment and it is all on one story.  It also is a little bit bigger than the one we are currently in so we were sold!  Tomorrow afternoon we move into our new place.  Of course, we didn't want to have to pack up and move (especially since we just went grocery shopping) but we think we will all be a bit more comfortable in a new place, given our neighbor situation here.

We spent most of the day indoors and headed out for about 1 hour to play at the park.  We were able to make some travel arrangements so we could visit a couple of local parks this week and next.  I checked my email this afternoon and I had received an email from a local lady here in Colombia that makes the most beautiful handmade dresses and sweaters.  I had been trying to get in contact with her since I arrived and thankfully we heard back from her.  She came over this evening with a couple of bags full of beautiful dresses and sweaters.  I of course wanted to order 1 in every size and color.  We did end up ordering a few ;) things from her for our girls and for our good friend Monica's kiddos.

Tonight we gave the girls a bath and got them all ready for bedtime.  Amaya Fernanda gave her daddy both a hug and a kiss tonight before bedtime.  That was the sweetest thing ever!  Then Mark decided that it was time for him to start putting Alejandra back to bed again.  My mom had been helping out with Alejandra since she arrived.  Alejandra enjoyed having her daddy read her bedtime stories and tucking her in.  She requested an abrazo with both arms from her daddy.  Mark ended up having a pretty good night with his girls tonight!

Tomorrow we are packing up and moving out into our new apartment so it should be a pretty busy afternoon/evening as we settle into the new place.
