Today was a holiday in Colombia so we were at a stand still with our paperwork. We all got up and took a walk to the grocery store to buy our Colombina candy for home. Saturia, my mom and aunt's friend from years ago, cooked ajiaco for us today. It made for an awesome dinner! We stayed inside most of the day and we packed up a couple of things. We got ourselves organized for our embassy trip tomorrow and then we went to bed pretty early.
We have enjoyed Colombia immensely but next time we come I will be happy to be here for vacation ONLY...no legal process. But, after almost 30 days we are ready to go home for many reasons....Fernanda's diarrhea hasn't been resolved so we want to figure out what is going on, Alejandra is ready to sleep in her big girl bed again, WE are ready for a good night's sleep, Fernanda is ready to be on a set routine (she is REALLY testing the limits these days).
