Day 27: Panaca and El Corral

We woke up to RAIN...surprise, surprise!  We decide to head out to Panaca Sabana (a beautiful outdoor zoo in the north of Bogota) anyway and take our chances.  It continued to drizzle while we were out there but little Alejandra and tiny Amaya Fernanda still enjoyed viewing the animals.  Alejandra got to feed a sheep and a goat a bottle.  She also got to sit on a horse and go on a pony ride.  She said her day was "muy divertido!"  Fernanda enjoyed viewing the animals as well.  She kept pointing at them and making sounds.  We all enjoyed the horse show where they show a few different types of horses and do a few tricks.  Then the rain started to pick up so we decided to head back to Bogota, but not before Mark's favorite place to eat....El Corral!  They have a really nice El Corral in the north of Bogota and it is HUGE!  On a sunny day it is an awesome place to eat because they have 2 outdoor play areas for the kids.  Despite the rainy weather we still ended up having a nice time at Panaca and of course a great lunch ;).

We got back to our apartment in El Batan and we spent the afternoon relaxing around the house.  We had a nice dinner and then Miriam our favorite sweater/dress lady brought us all of our purchases.  Each and every one is absolutely gorgeous!  Alejandra happily wore her dresses and exclaimed how beautiful they were.  Now they just need a place or reason to wear these gorgeous dresses...party anyone?

Fernanda had gone to bed so early because she didn't really take a nap with the excitement of the day.  Normally I (Debi) do bedtime without a problem with her.  But, tonight she cried when Mark walked out of the room.  A bond is definitely developing between those two!

Until tomorrow!
