FBI Fingerprints

Happy 2010 to us! We just received our updated FBI clearances so we are all set for another 6 months! Just waiting for news! Colombia should pick up in the next couple of weeks. Happy 2011!

8.24.10 - Dossier sent to Colombia

11.16.10 - Received info. from CHI that ICBF approved our dossier!

11.31.10 - Assigned to Putumayo region

01.17.11 - Received initial information regarding our daughter! We are headed to Cundinamarca!

02.21.11 - Officially accepted!

2.25.11 - USCIS received I-800 and started processing!

3.3.11 - Received I-797 Notice of Action from USCIS (they received our I-800)

3.11.11 - Received I-800 approval from USCIS

3.16.11 - I800 petition sent to U.S. Embassy in Bogota.

4.12.11 - Article 5 issued FINALLY!

4.18.11 - Applied for adoption visa at Colombian Embassy.

4.20.11 - Received adoption visa from Colombian Embassy.

5.10.11 - Meet with Social Worker at ICBF.

5.12.11 - Meet our daughter at ICBF regional office.

5.19.11 - Integration meeting.

5.20.11 - Dossier Radicado

5.30.11 - Sentencia.

5.31.11 - Birth Certificate Amended

6.03.11 - Colombian Passport Issued

6.03.11 - Medical Exam

6.08.11 - Visa issued

6.09.11 - Travel to USA!
